| omggg so frikkin long!!!!..ummm yes ppl after alot of work and effort i finished my AS in Business Administration from QCC..and now i just got accepted to FIT!!!! after staying up late and drawing and sewing those endless nights i finally achieved my goal of gettin into MY SCHOOL!!!! my mom was like..ummm.what if you dun get in what are you gonna do? you have plan B? im like no nothing else thats my school i know i made it!!!:) God listens!!!:) i love everyone and everything!! thanx for all the support:) Kitty | | |
| WOw!!! i guess i haven't updated in a while...i have been so busy with work and school and all that. Well my other site is the personal one www.xanga.com/sk8ergrl94 but this one is mostly just to show off my talent. hehe...i haven't done much...just prolly a pencil skirt, blazer, some cute bags...but nothing really STRIKING...anywho i'm going to start with menswear. I'm really excited My father is going to be first model, then my brothers. hehe. Right now i'm really obsessed with the color :Olive Green...Military theme i totally love it!!!!! I really wanted to go to Bryant Park Fashion Week..but i wasnt able to get tickets in time...so i just watched it on channel 25 CABLE..and it was awesome..i was like sitting there with my mouth open drooling its like they are so lucky to have the opportunity to show off their talent and i wanna be able to show off mine..and its very depressing but at the same time very inspireing..especially when most the those great designers tell their story and they talk about how they had to work so hard to get to the top and family helping and opposing...its just so cool umm i'm also really inspired by the hit reality TVshow on Bravo TV Project Runway! its so intriguing and super exciting!!! everytime that i finish watchin the new episodes on wed...i'm like so inspired to sew something crazy but still chic. The other reality TV show is America's Next Top Model. Its so cool...especially cuz once upon a time i actually thought that i wanted to be a model..since i had(ve) the body and i was the tallest girl among my friends..but once i hit 5.6...and did get any taller....welll that dream died....but then just about the same time i realized that i was pretty good at sewing and it wasn't something that was gonna come and go..plus i have always been good with a pencil and paper...so from then on..i aspired to be a fashion designer...hopefully by next year i'm a be done with my business A.S. and then i can continue on with my B.A. in Fashion Design..prolly in FIT, or maybe even Parsons with financial aid ...i hope to be the best one day and nothing is gonna stop me......unless God kills me..or does something  umm....so hopefully i get a digi cam soon..since my other one broke..and then i can post my recent achievements...they are nice...just not something like unique..just something useful and very much needed. | HEY PPLSS!!!
Its been forever!!!! im just doing a ton of things!! i totally wish
that i had more time!! ive been working on my business degree and my
portfolio!! ..which bytheway...presented on Sat March 11th..to the
Professors/judges...at...wait for it....drumroll....F.I.T!!!!!
ok..im sooooo excited!! in just 6-8 weeks...i will find out if im
accepted!! if i am...hopefully GOd WIlling...i will be on my way to
becoming a professional Fashion Designer!!! yippie...im so bouncing off
the walls here...im so excited...anywho..i still have to take pictures
of my work to show you guys!!! its not the best.....well cuz they kept
the best ones..hehe..but im goin to redraw them..and hopefully they
come out just as good..im not bragging..because when i got there at 9
am in the morning..i was one of the last ones..to get there so...i was
one of the last ones to be interviewed..and the professors had seen so
mah applicants...and they were all really good..im like all nervous but
i think it went pretty good...cuz u have to know how to draw and how to
sew...the ppl that didnt know how to sew were told to take sewing
classes..and everyone knew how to draw..so i didnt see any problem
there..but most of them went to classes and learned how to
draw...i...learned all by myself...one of the professors asked me if i
had traced my drawings...but i didnt...and hes like all shocked..im
wondering if that is a good thing? or a bad thing?....i mean they
really have no proof that i did it on my own..with out the aid of a
book...or that someone else did it for me...
Oh yeah thats write...we had to do a test there on the spot...draw
right in front of them...i drew this blue dress...2 shades of
blue...long..yet like a mermaid design...its kinda weird..yet really
elegant..i really wanna get into evening wear..and then eventually
expand...and have a "off the top" enterprise..hehe...anywho..i think i
have said enuff..and u guys can tell how excited i am!! im so in
love!!!! i got some books fromt he library...like on how to construct
portfolios...and sewing books to upgrade my skills...ive been working a
few things...hm...anywho..i have tons of homework to do...so chao!!
